Hi all,

Havent sent a general message in quite some time now, i don't like to spam people...

What's going on? Well, I have acquired a dedicated server in order to give Ott-Moto unlimited (or close to) bandwidth and web space. After a few years of good advertising sales and member support, this has now been a well worth investment and will help a lot in many aspects.

What's in it for me?
I'm glad you ask! Since only hosting ott-moto on this newly acquired server would be overkill, i decided to provide website hosting at a VERY economical price (less then 100$/year). This will help pay the carrier bandwidth and the rack space cost.

Hopefully this will help in better manage the site/server and resources. But also provide members with web hosting facilities at a very low cost.

This will be happening in the next few days. First we need to configure and harden the server security and install the base software and components required. Once this step completed and sanitized, another test site will be moved to this new dedicated server in order to make sure everything is setup correctly on the server side. The second step will be moving Ott-Motorcycles.ca to this server. This may cause interruption in the functionality as well as availability but this should not take more the 1 day and will most probably happen on a weekend since all of you will be out riding... :headband:
 
So stay tune and once we are ready to move Ott-motorcycles.ca, you will be notified the same way and it will also be on the forum in the Ott-Moto news section.
